How to Submit a File

Whether you've crafted a game-changing plugin, designed a captivating map, or built an indispensable tool, Codefling offers a streamlined process for file submissions. This guide will walk you through the steps to ensure your submission goes smoothly.
Instructions to Submit Your File
- Ensure you're signed into your Codefling account. If you don't have one, you'll need to register first.
- Find the "Submit a file" button, usually prominently placed on the main page or click here
- Once on the submission page, you'll be presented with several fields and options to detail your file.
File Information
- File Name (REQUIRED)
- Clearly name your file to ensure users can easily identify its purpose or functionality.
- Opt to "Follow this file" if you wish to receive notifications related to this file.
- About This File (REQUIRED)
- Draft a concise yet informative description detailing what your file does.
- File Upload:
- Drag and drop your file or click "choose files". Ensure it is one of the accepted types: txt, zip, cs, json, png, jpg, jpeg and does not exceed the 48.83 MB size limit.
- Type (REQUIRED)
- Decide whether your file will be free or paid.
- Associate with Product(s)
- If applicable, select products with which users must have an active purchase to download this file.
- Price (if choosing "Paid")
- Set your desired price in USD. Remember, there's a 12% commission plus a $0.49 transaction fee.
- Renewals (REQUIRED)
- Choose if you want renewals or not.
- Git
- Optionally include your git to allow users to contribute.
- License
- License your work using either the MIT License or GNU License to protect against unauthorized redistribution and modifications. If you don't want any license, you can leave it blank.
- Carbon Compatibility (REQUIRED)
- Indicate if your plugin is compatible with Carbon.
- Sale Price
- Set a price if you wish to have your file on sale.
- Sale End
- Specify the end date of your sale.
- Enable Bundle? (REQUIRED)
- Decide whether this file is bundled with other products.
- Dependencies
- Add any dependencies and specify if they're required for your file.
- Version Number (REQUIRED)
- Clearly state the version of your file.
